Since all the terms are multiplied, we use xa × xb = xa+b for each variable:
Rearranging the terms and applying the above rule to each variable in turn we have:
The constant (numeric) terms are: 2 ×2 ×2 = 8
Terms in b are: b × b × b × b2 = b5
Terms in t are: t × t2 × t2 × t = t6
Terms in s are: s2 × s × s3 = s6
Terms in p are: p2 × p3 × p3 = p8
